Hunger for Answers

My hunger for answers led me on an adventure
seeing with clarity of thought those under indenture
My thirst for any truth brought me to a new reality
that evil does exists without a modicum of morality

I endeavored to garner a semblance of compendium
such an undertaking would have put me in a sanitarium
A sudden pinnacle was reached in the blink of an eye
emancipated from fear and then letting out a huge sigh

A moratorium of delving granted a much needed reprieve
the realization was clear that both side set out to deceive
My perspective realigned to watch diversions play out
while those all around me either hid or would shout

Insights are still sought from digital gurus and leaders
snippets gobbled up whole by many of their readers
Alleged research beguiles and keeps them confounded
a few have stepped back and are no longer dumbfounded

The answer is already within the questions you must ask
recognize it’s good versus evil as the culminating task
Dissuasions divert from where your attention is needed
remember such tactics of yore have well succeeded
