Fit In?

Is there a place for me? Is there a place where I fit? (John 14:2-3) Sometimes we just feel displaced. The best thing for us is to be the “who” we have been designed and shaped by God to be. (Psalm 139:13-16) Exactly who we are is enough. So, we don’t fit in. Maybe we were born not to fit in, but to stand out. (Ephesians 2:10)

Say It And Believe It: “I am not displaced. I belong. There is a place for me.” It is more than we could dream, hope for, or imagine this place God has prepared for us. To shake off the feelings of being displaced, we need to change our focus off of ourself and what we think we need to feel like we belong, to feel like we fit in here. Focus on Jesus, and be about the business of His Kingdom and everything else here, on this side of heaven falls into place as we wait to be in the place we truly belong, with Jesus, the One we whole heartedly belong to.
