On September 8, 2021, the Greater Irvine Republicans and the Republican Party of Orange County held a rally to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom. The event was located at the corner of Irvine Center Dr. and Culver Dr. in Irvine, CA and Costa Mesa Brief was asked to cover it.
