Magnificence

Oh the magnificence granted us in everyday life
reminds me to be thankful of simple pleasures
The sun shining on my face as a heavenly caress
is a gift given me beyond any earthly measures

And just the wonder of holding a child in my arms
is to be granted a moment of unconditional love
The circle of life continues on its own natural course
why this could only have come from heaven above

Quiet nobleness is humbled in a moment of prayer
gratitude says so much from those of us who care

The grandeur granted us each is the gift of life itself
in spite of our trials and tribulations each of us face
Blessed and forgiven of our misdeeds and thoughts
hearts are granted the goodness by Creators grace

Exalt in a belief greater than life itself can grant us
sustained countenance in the face of adversity
Our measure of humanity stands the test of time
it is brother helping brother in times of calamity

The splendor of nature is a wonderment to behold
studied right down to the minutest intricate details
With an innate intelligence obeying its natural order
perpetuating genetic perfection when all else fails

There is resplendent beauty in a moment of kindness
a gracious gift bestowed upon a fellow human being
You can’t always see what someone is going through
so look beyond the surface at what you are seeing
