The 1000 Years: A Lesson Before Revelation 20

We are stopping to take a look at “pre”, “post”, and “a” millennialism before getting into chapter 20 in Revelation. The millennium is the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ that is briefly mentioned in chapter 20 verses 1-10. In that section of verses, it also mentions Satan being bound and people ruling and reigning with Christ for that 1000 year period. We strongly believe that the Bible says what it means and means what it says (dispensationalism), whereas others believe that the Bible means something other than what it says or that it is mostly symbolic, specifically when it comes to chapter 20. Next week we will get into chapter 20 and tie it all together, hopefully making everything clear as to why we understand the Bible and chapter 20 the way that we do.
