Zipping Baby Chick

In this video I show a pipped and zipping baby silkie chick. Note this egg is from under a broody hen and it was very warm outside. Doing this is not recommended as eggs can shrink wrap when exposed to the air. This is part one of the hatch. In later videos I will show the complete hatch of this chick. In those, you will see that it hatched fine even though it was handled during hatching.
