Control Your Temper

James 1:19-27

It is not always wrong to be angry. Some anger is normal. But the Christian has to learn to control their temper. There is such a thing as righteous indignation, getting angry at the right things at the right time in the right way. The Bible frequently speaks of “God's wrath being kindled against the wickedness of this world.” The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness Romans 1:18

James cautions us, My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, James 1:19
