20210917 Ceding Ground - The Daily Summation

Here's a challenge for you.

Who can tell me why seemingly sane and sensible people on the political right, seem to be migrating ever leftward?

Is it (as I suspect) at least IN PART, because leftists are constantly moving further in that same direction?

I'd love it if someone could explain this to me.

From MY way of looking at the World, where I stand on something should ONLY change if I see I was WRONG (that I had abandoned my principles in some way or they needed to change).

This is NOT what seems to be happening.
