Antifa representatives and supporters are holding a demonstration in support of left-wing attack suspect Lina E. and against decriminalisation of their movement, in Leipzig on Saturday, September 18.

Lina E., and her co-defendants are accused of having carried out violent attacks on right-wing extremists in Saxony and Thuringia, with Lina alleged to be the head of the militant left-wing extremist group behind the assaults.

The court proceedings in the case are ongoing and are expected to last through at least spring of 2022.

Antifa-Vertreter und Unterstützer demonstrieren am Samstag, 18. September, in Leipzig für die linke Anschlagsverdächtige Lina E. und gegen die Entkriminalisierung ihrer Bewegung.

Lina E. und ihren Mitangeklagten wird vorgeworfen, gewalttätige Angriffe auf Rechtsextremisten in Sachsen und Thüringen verübt zu haben. Lina E. soll die Anführerin der militanten linksextremistischen Gruppe sein, die hinter den Anschlägen steht.

Das Gerichtsverfahren in diesem Fall läuft noch und wird voraussichtlich mindestens bis zum Frühjahr 2022 andauern.
