(Originally Aired 5 July 2020) The 4th of July holds a doubly special meaning for me. Our national birthday is obvious enough, but it is also the day that I first set foot in Alaska as a resident.

Here, I celebrate both our nation's 244th birthday, and my 20th year as an Alaskan by talking about our gun culture.
