How to Clean Doves the Easy Way - No Plucking!

After a successful bird hunt, you now have a nice pile of birds to clean. Here is the easy way to clean a dove (or other small bird) in the field without plucking. Simply pull the breast out in one piece, and leave all of the guts, feathers, etc. in another.

Just give it a rinse and your dove is ready for the cooler or the grill.

This is pretty common knowledge to experienced hunters, but I hope it is helpful to anyone who is just getting started or still plucking their birds.
