Last time on DEVIL MAY CRY 5...

DANTE and VERGIL, the Sons of Sparda and eternal rivals, having both obtained their REAL ULTIMATE POWER FINAL FORMS, prepared for their final battle! Once and for all, they would settle the matter- who is the true heir of their father, The Legendary Dark Knight Sparda?

The epic battle was fierce, indeed. There was much epicness, battling, and ferocity. Kyle died a lot because it was a really tough fight and he’s not very good. But, at last, Dante (played by Kyle) prevailed! (Except not really because it’s one of those boss fights where even if you win, you don’t really win for plot reasons.)

It seemed the brothers were evenly matched (even though the game difficulty did *not* reflect that). Thus, in classic anime/video game style, they prepared for one of those things where they just ran straight at each other for an epic final clash, which doesn’t really make sense, but hey, video games!

As the two mighty Sons of Sparda clashed, everything started exploding and there was lightning and stuff and it was pretty cool- but eventually, the cool explosions and lightning and stuff cleared, revealing the victor to be...
