The recommended dilution is 0.5% to 1%. The most common saline bottles are either 44 ml or 88 ml.

For a 44 ml saline bottle -
0.5% dilution is 2 ml Iodine
1% dilution is 4 ml Iodine

For a 88 ml saline bottle -
0.5% dilution is 4 ml Iodine
1% dilution is 8 ml Iodine
