20210926 More on Parenting - The Daily Summation

I'm not trying to sell myself as some sort of parenting expert.

That's a good thing, because I'M NOT such.

That said, I feel like we've gotten less interested in passing down knowledge about such things, to those younger than ourselves.

For MY part, I've had thirty six years, to think about what it means to be a parent; what I've done well, and what I've done badly.

If I had to have a "catchphrase" where parenting is concerned, it would be an expression I've used OVER AND OVER AGAIN, talking to people about doing just that.

What is it?

"You're not RAISING CHILDREN, you're raising ADULTS."
