Bar fines and San Miguel beer for 6 pesos. Exchange rate 150 pesos for $20. My 2 bedroom, 2 floor row house was about $80. a month. Cable TV was extra with a few stations.

The house girl was $20. a payday plus a $20. tip so she could buy her own food.
