Something unexpected has happened, and I am considering the inconceivable. Grandpa's health is deteriorating fast, and we feel very pressed to get back and see him before its too late. The only problem is that requires getting the vaccine.

In the meantime, I continue to raise the alarm over the ongoing economic situation in China. An economic collapse could lead to long term interruption of utility services, availability of goods and medicines in western countries. Imagine some small piece critical to the electrical grid failing, but no replacement being available because the factory that makes them has closed. It really could happen. Get ready for a bumpy ride.
