1: The Exile

Revelation 1:1-8 In this lesson we are introduced to the Revelation of Jesus Christ and the purpose for which it was written.

Many consider the book of Revelation to be the most difficult book of the Bible to interpret. But there are reasons for its symbolic, apocalyptic language. It is meant to encourage, not to confuse. The book's purpose is to reveal the culmination of history: Victory for Christ and His Kingdom.
