40. James Forbes - The Second Battle of the Plains of Abraham

James is an award-winning historian and author with a PhD in History from the University of Calgary. Most of James' academic work has focused on the history of classical liberalism in 19th-century Canada, particularly the role of religion in politics. He has published peer-reviewed articles on the history of the 1837 Upper Canada Rebellion, the separation of church and state, and Protestant-Catholic relations in early Canada. James is also the Western Heritage Columnist for the Western Standard where he writes about history, politics, and culture.
