State Senator positioning himself for Labor Secretary?

As Georgia Department of Labor struggles to catch up from COVID backlog, Bruce Thompson is eying to take over the position. Current Labor of Secretary Mark Butler could possibly be asked to step down, giving Gov. Brian Kemp authority to name a successor.
