Derek Fildebrandt is Publisher of the Western Standard. He was a Wildrose MLA and then Leader of the Freedom Conservative Party of Alberta from 2015 to 2019. From 2009 to 2015 he was Alberta Director and National Research Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
