Puzzle Piece

Each verse in this song was written about a member of my family, the puzzle pieces of my heart. I began writing it thinking of my wedding and birth of my son and then the journey of adopting our daughter through Foster Care and the profound promise that God had given me that she was our missing piece. It was a long and winding road, but as always, He was faithful and our family feels as if we have truly found our missing pieces.

A small behind the music part of this song: the piano part is an inverted melody similar to the song I wrote after my sister passed away (see "Supposed to Be" on my channel.) The two songs are book end pieces, as I felt I wanted to take the grief from the first song and invert it into life and joy in another. I hope this song portrays that to the best of my ability.
