Columbus Day Liberty Minute

I am Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Columbus Day, day 575 of 15 days to flatten the curve.
Yes, I said Columbus Day. Christopher Columbus challenged the science of the times and was right! He did not fall off the edge of a flat earth. A pioneer worth celebrating.
Columbus's daring journey should be recognized as proof that science is never settled. Science should always be questioned and challenged. Anyone who says, "the science is settled" clearly does not understand the basic principles of science itself.
To be fair, the indigenous people of the Americas deserve a celebration too. Maybe there should be a national Indigenous People Day, but it should not replace Columbus Day.
