Blonde hair and blue eyes has been the beauty holy grail since the inception of American media however, with the Kardashians and the emergence of the diverse leading lady on film and TV - the standard HAS finally shifted. BUT even though you don't have to look like Marilyn Monroe to be beautiful does the Marilyn Monroe look still trump other forms of beauty.

In a very small sampling test, myself and Jessica Carroll took to Hollywood and Highland to record ourselves walking for ten minutes with one question in mind:

How many cat calls would we get?
