STAR ROVER release self-titled LP, produced by Grammy awardee JESSE HARRIS

Friday brings the release of the eponymous album from Brooklyn's STAR ROVER, which was produced by frequent collaborator and Grammy award-winning songwriter JESSE HARRIS. Taking advantage of the pandemic downtime from touring with the likes of David Byrne, Kimbra, Bill Frissel, Okkervil River, Sam Amidon, Marc Ribot, Delicate Steve and Nels Cline, the duo recorded this album in a Long Island beach house in aims "to encapsulate elements of what we used to be, what we are, and what we can be". The Spill Magazine says they are "as diverse as they are fantastic... reminiscent of TNT-era Tortoise... Sheer excellence, this is vacillating instrumental post-rock with an American tinge"
