Merck, Ridgeback & The Molnupiravir Scam

Companies developing molnupiravir took $35 million it tax payer money for development over the course of 7 years. Now Merck is pricing courses of Molnupiravir @ $712.00 per course. Yet It costs them an estimated $19.99 per course and that is including 10% profit.
$35 million in tax payer funds to develop a drug, and when they need it the most, they charge those same people who helped develop it 35x the price.
