There is a downside to always improving a nation, the generations to come will have it easier and easier. People will start to become goofy, or just straight gullible. It also doesn't help when government is just out to make things 'fair'. But by 'fair', we mean mandating things that aren't necessary, banning certain things that otherwise wouldn't be if people weren't so careless; if life wasn't so easy... We've become a helmet nation where everyone is oversensitive and offended about anything, but who is responsible? Clearly not the individual, nor government. The secular mind does not know that the heart of the problem, is the problem of the heart.
