Jim Chaps music is gallantly streaming worldwide...Jim knows all verses of the Star-Spangled Banner, including the "Concluded" verse - written during the Civil War era and obscured in the public domain. Jim found this verse while recording his Triple Treat project in 2013. Jim also discovered that "Concord Hymn" regarded by many as a great patriotic poem - was written to a specific melody - a familiar church song. "So the melody is Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow... and Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote the words for the melody."
Jim began playing original songs as a teenager in 1975 at The Hinge coffeehouse in Dearborn at FairLane Manor the former residence of Clara and Henry Ford.
