Interview with Mark Hecht part 1

Mark Hecht is a Canadian writer, teacher and politician. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria and a Master’s Degree in City Planning from the University of Manitoba.

He worked with the Nature Trust of BC in habitat conservation prior to teaching geography at Mount Royal University for more than a decade. As a writer, he has been published in Areo Magazine, Merion West and The Canadian Journal. He ran as a federal candidate during the 44th Canadian General Election in the riding of Cowichan-Malahat-Langford.
