Why I Am Stretching The Magnetic Field?

Ordinarily a column of magnets will only appear to either repel or attract another magnet, depending on polarity.

Using silicon based caulking, I am stretching the two counter rotating field currents into a broader area, allowing the column of magnets to both attract and repel... 🙂
