Drying his wings after swimming

The Double-Crested Cormorant is an amazing bird and one of my favorite to photograph, film, and just watch. They are amazing swimmers, divers, and fishermen. In my opinion, one of the most striking physical feature of this remarkable bird is their beautiful and stunning Blue Sapphire eyes. I find myself memorized of the intricate detail and beauty of their eyes. As a Wildlife and Nature Photographer, we place our focus point of the camera on their eye. That is when I really took a deep and thoughtful look on their eyes. The striking deep blue centre surrounded by a lighter blue body speckled with black shards that almost resemble the faceted edges of Sapphire. I must say that the Cormorant has one of the most beautiful eyes in the bird kingdom. Whenever you see this remarkable bird, see if you can get a glimpse of their beautiful eyes.
