Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Don Wedding, a data science consultant and professor of Data Science at Northwestern University.

According to Don, the U.S. government could be underestimating CPI by as much as 3.2 times if one looks back at the historical comparison with the Big Mac Index. Added to that Don also looked at the impact of shrinkflation on the purchasing power of the dollar.
