Gila Monster

Gila monsters are one of only two species of poisonous lizards in the world. They live in the southwestern United States and in Mexico. This short video features USGS Research Ecologist Emeritus Cecil Schwalbe describing the details of the biology and ecology of the Gila monster and how it survived a very painful bite from the Gila monster.
