These times are perilous and some of our loved ones are dying. It does little good when someone we love dearly has died - to hear that we're in the midst of a mighty battle, for the costs and casualties are all too familiar. How can we endure? Where can we find the strength to go on?
Paul reminds us - “creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now … we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies” (Romans 8:22–23). And here is the key - our HOPE - resides not here on this Earth - but in the promises of Jesus and of Heaven.
