Daggerfall Playthrough Part 9 - Medora's Freedom (Unicorn Horn), The Ancient Watcher

Medora's Freedom:
When you've reached level 8 you can investigate what Prince Lhotun (back in part 6) told you about Medora Direnni (the sorceress that Lysandus was in love with). She was cursed to stay in a large castle on the Isle of Balfiera called Direnni Tower. Make sure you're well equipped for combat before you go, it's not a safe place and there is a dangerous lich guarding her room in the castle. If you're lucky he'll kill himself with a fireball-he's dangerous but he's got two left feet. NOTE: I recommend you have some way to levitate, there is an incline that I just couldn't seem to walk or crawl up without glitching into the 'void' so I used a magic item to cast the spell. Medora will tell you that her curse can be lifted if you visit another powerful sorceress called Nulfaga (remember that crazy woman from before?) find the Unicorn Horn in her castle (Shedungent) and bring it back to Medora. Shedungent isn't hard now that we know the 'shut up' password to open her throne room door. The horn is always in the same place in Shedungent, just follow the path taken in the video. When you return to Medora the curse will be lifted and she'll reward you with a magic item.

The Ancient Watcher:
11:39 - Received a letter from an Agent of the Underking who is looking to meet. 28:45 - Reading the letter, he wants to meet at some location in Sentinel. The Underking has a bone to pick with the Necromancers and offers a reward if you can thwart a magical trap they trying to inflict upon the Blades (with a magical item they stole from the Underking). Travel to Castle Llugwych in Ykalon to steal the item back. Again, make sure you're well equipped for this dungeon crawl as there are several vampires that can sneak up on you when you're not looking. Follow the path taken in the video and pay attention to the levers being pulled. Once the item is found, vampires may try to ambush you. When you return the item to the Agent he'll render it safe and allow you to keep it. He'll also confirm that Lysandus was killed, not in battle, but assassinated beforehand. The tomb in Hammerfell is empty and the body was secretly taken to a tomb in Menevia that he proceeds to mark on your map.
