Taking the Land

Most people want to follow the rules and be good citizens, workers, neighbors, and members of whatever group they chose to belong.

Until recently most of us had a pretty good idea what the rules were, and did our best to comply: don’t speed, pay your bills and taxes, don’t have loud parties that disturb your neighbors, don’t steal or hurt people, and generally be a nice person.

All changed in 2020 – and continues to change today…

This week on our Sovereign Wealth Insights Discussion we tackled some tough issues around fear and how it triggers a fight or flight response that will cause people to make decisions they otherwise wouldn’t. The tendency to self-preservation and accumulating resources and supplies to look after self was the backdrop for our foundation on establishing local community governance.
