Spot on Wednesday 10-27-21

It stopped me dead in my tracks.

My mind scurried to assemble an image, a reference, a correlation between something I'd seen before and what I'm not seeing now.

The funny thing about your mind it will trick you, it'll make things up, it'll let you down when you need it to be deliberate.

It will distract you from what would normally be reality.

So what's the answer, is it what you expected? Does it fit the current narrative?

Expected, what you expected, really?

It was a moonless night, couldn't see my hand in front of my face, however, I could feel it, I knew it was there, but what was it? How did it fit in?

I had to move forward, I couldn't just stand there and after a few hundred steps the light came on filling the area in front of me. I didn't even look back over my shoulder.

Now I'll never know until that happens again. #dbrn
