Sage Steele, who is bi-racial, is under fire, for saying this about Barack Obama. Of course, MSNBC's Tiffany Cross was not happy.

But recall Tiger Woods's mother making pretty much the same complaint or observation about how the media called her son "black" or "African American". However, Woods has explained over the years that..."African-American" was too restrictive a term, given his multiracial background; and that, in particular, it excluded his Asian mother from the picture. Therefore, during childhood, Woods invented the term "Cablinasian."

Also, remember what Don Lemon said about Kamala Harris for calling herself "African American"?
If you look at Tiffany Cross, she's very light skin. Which raises the question, what is her racial and ethnic background?

So, if you're keeping score, Sage steel cannot question whether Barack Obama is black; Harry Belafonte question whether Colin Powell is; Tiger Woods mom can I ask what about me when people talk about his ethnicity; Barack Obama since there's more than one way to Black. Don lemon question whether Kamala Harris is African-American.
