The Spiritual Battle FIRST, or at least, at the same time.

Yes, it is a spiritual battle FIRST because until that real spiritual battle is engaged, no earthly weapon may produce what is True, Good, and Beautiful. We cannot win in our own might; all we can do is add to the confusion, the pain, the darkness. Jesus wasn't merely uttering meaningless words when he said:
Mat 6:31-ff:  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. 

This is a lesson about that "Thy Kingdom Come; Thy will be done, ON EARTH, as it is in heaven."
