Granola isn't just for hikers and hippies, and it's super easy to make - or you can just buy some.
The cost effectiveness and "healthiness" all depends on what you put in it; nuts are pricey and candy coated chocolate candies aren't health food.
I make it because I enjoy it. That's all.
