Strike of the Day: June 25, 2020

Taken at 240fps (720 dpi) with using iPhone 7s+ then slowed to 30x real-time in iMovie. This daylight strike occurred in just a fraction of a second but I knew it was going to be a beauty.

The thunderstorm that produced this (one of only a few cloud to ground strikes in 25 minutes) went severe just to my south. This bolt was exactly 1.4 miles away.
