Entrepreneurs In Canada with Dr. Richard Goossen

Canada’s entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy, with small businesses leading in the area of providing jobs, and therefore livelihood stability, for Canadian families nationwide. Many Canadian have been absolutely shaken with the arrival of Covid-19 and the various mandates implemented to manage it. Some jobs have been put on hold, others dramatically reconfigured, and thousands have lost their jobs because of the recent vaccine mandate.

According to Stats Canada, the unemployment rate was 9.5% in 2020, a significant increase from the previous year at 5.7%. We have not seen these unemployment rates in over a decade. Here at Faytene TV, we are hearing almost daily from people who are currently in major employment shifts, with some even starting from Ground Zero for the first time in their lives.

Well, our guest today, Dr. Richard Goossen, knows firsthand how to build something from nothing, and how to help others do the same. Dr. Goossen has taught subjects such as entrepreneurial finance, strategic management, business law, international business law and more at multiple universities, and has extensive experience in doing business in Asia. He currently chairs the ELO Group, which focuses on equipping, connecting, and inspiring Christian entrepreneurs.
