Is the Universe Billions of Years Old - Does It Really Matter

We live in a day when most people believe that the universe is 14.6 billion years old and the earth is 4 billion years old. In fact, a majority of Christians believe in billions of years, because they don’t know what to do with the “science”. Many of our theologians in churches and in seminaries also believe in billions of years or lean that way because they don’t think it really matters. But it does matter because it calls into question the authority of God’s word. Does the Bible give us any clues to the age of the earth?
