Ricky G Racing Shop Tour

Ricky Gutierrez (AKA Ricky G) races the #78 Pro 2 truck in the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series. At 16 years old, he was the youngest driver to ever compete in the Pro 2 class in the national series where he finished 9th overall in 2019. He started racing at 8 years old and has grown up, and moved up, through the Jr1 Kart, Jr2 Kart and Modified Kart classes picking up championships, rookie of the years honors and many victories. At 17 years old he is about to start his second season in the Pro2 Truck class for the 2020 season and will be racing both the national Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and the Midwest Championship Off Road Series. With his current driving coach Ricky Johnson, the addition of Crew Chief and Mechanic, Barry Beacham and Charlie Schlieve, Ricky is sure to turn some heads this season.

Ricky is the youngest of 4 brothers, he is a junior and set to graduate in 2020 a year early from at Orange Lutheran High. He loves the desert and was first introduced to racing at an early age. He would ride in his fathers 1/2 1600 car as a child for fun, and also learned how to ride his motorcycle and side by side growing up.
