One of the poisonous animals in the world. But even the Irukandji jellyfish are not the most poisonous jellyfish in the world, because there are other types of jellyfish that are more deadly. The Conservation Institute page mentions that one species of box jellyfish commonly called the sea wasp aka sea wasp (Chironex fleckeri) is one of the most poisonous animals in the world.
This jellyfish has 15 tentacles that are about 3 meters long. In each tentacle there are about half a million poisonous stinging cells, and each cell can kill up to 60 people! The poison is very quick to react and can kill in just a few minutes. Hey, that's really scary!
