Antigens aren’t the only way dna is damaged, sometimes missing or half missing portions of dna occur. There are many ways dna is damaged. Gaining the Rh antigen as in those with Rh+ is just one small damage occurring to human dna. Having A, B or AB is also antigens gained. O- was likely the original dna of humans because all humans can still receive O-.
