The lower back is a commonly injured area due to prolonged sitting, lack of exercise, poor diet, and many other reasons that lead to lower back pain. To prevent lower back pain, it is worth considering the muscle known as the transverse abdominous. The transverse abdominous (TVA) winds around our bellies and attaches to the lower back.
We went over
1) The transverse Abdominous
2) How the muscle activates the Thoraco-lumbar fascia.
3) The muscle is activated by drawing the belly inwards towards the spine
