It can sometimes feel as if we are alone with no one to talk to or be with. The reality of aloneness is that this solidarity allows us the time to return home. When we are alone, we are ALL-ONE with ourselves. In this state, we are uninfluenced by others and free to be ourselves. A problem arises when we are lonely and begin hankering for the other. When we hanker, we are like a child that cannot stand on their own feet and call others for attention and comfort. We enjoy the presence of others, yet, ultimately, we are ALL-ONE.
