MS Estonia, 2021 Investigation, ROV's 1st dive

As per the procurement of Estonian Safety Investigation Bureau, ROV surveys were conducted at the wrecksite of m/s Estonia on 14th and 15th of July 2021. The goal was to verify objects and images found with the sonar survey.

Out of the seven dives made, the first one viewed the stern of the wreck to check the condition of the aft ramps, rudder blade and propeller, the starboard side near the sea bottom until the bow, including the stabilizer fin's position, and the ship's bottom and port side in the area of the man made entrance holes.
