Do NOT Use That Wood

There are as many different types of woodworkers as there are types of wood. When the situation calls for it, you should definitely go out and get that perfect piece of hardwood. But a lot of the time, you may have what you need already. If not, there may be other ways to do more with less.

This isn't meant to promote a certain style of building anything in particular - just a reality check on why we're building in the first place and how we can build more, faster and cheaper. Not everything is - or has to be - fine furniture.
