FOR Izzy Gonzalez, her style is her whole brand. From her 31 face tattoos and stretched ears to her oversized clothing, chain accessories and platform heels, Izzy is known for her alternative look. The 27-year-old from Denver, Colorado describes her look as ‘trap emo’ and is better known by her rapper and model persona: face tatt mommy. Izzy told Truly: “My whole look is a mash of everything I'm comfortable wearing which is usually oversized clothing. You'll almost never catch me wearing a dress, wearing flats, wearing nylon. I wear wigs sometimes, I wear weaves, I love bright coloured hair, but you'll never catch me with the Karen look.” Izzy is a mum and feels she receives a lot of judgement for her look when she is with her daughter, Amora, with people assuming she is her babysitter or sister. Izzy said: “Most people don't expect a mum to be walking her two-year-old with some platform Buffalo Londons on and chains swinging around, but my daughter loves it.” Today, Izzy will be undergoing a 'mumsy' transformation. What will she think of this Karen-inspired look, which is the complete opposite of her own? How will her friend and daughter react when they see the completed look?
